Rock's most under-rated guitarist:

Bingo

Man he could wail, what riffs.

Four banana, three banana, two bananas, one
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun,
Flipping like a pancake, popping like a cork,
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and not forgetting Snork

1. Josie (of Pussycats fame) was a lot cuter, though.
And who could forget that guy from "The WayOuts" in that one Flintstones episode?

3. What kind of guitar is that?
Hollow-body, single cutaway with a weird Fender-style headstock, inlays and 6, count 'em, SIX knobs!!

I must have one.

the 'E' one, "The Banana Splits; After the Music Died"? Yeah that was sad, who would have thought Fleegle, becoming depressed over his solo effort would join a monastary.

The Plantain Splits, and their big flop album, "Haile Unlikely."

Quite sad.

22. And Fleagle's post-Splits career was just weak exercises
in genre expirimentation. His Country album, "Gramma Done Slapped Me, Mama," or his "New Age" attempt, "Gaia Farts" are prime examples.

here and there. Studio musician for long time. Backed up some biggies from time to time, including, I believe, a group from Liverpool.

Saw him in person at a festival in Tucson. The man has good hands.

Edited to add: I need coffee; how do you spell that word for the old LPs? :D
