3. He is like a god - no really
I hink he is one of he best painters of the 20th century. He is coming out with an new show. I saw a bunch of pics in the latest issue of Juxtapoz - they're his best yet!

7. His move from comix to oil painting was a tectonic shift.
I'm so glad he did that; I wish Crumb woulda made that move a long time ago. His brillinace seems cramped on the B+W pages of the comix he does nowadays.


And I love how Williams conciously rebelled against non-representational art in his paintings....

i have a copy. vinyl. got it at a record show a loooong time ago. i was a huge fan, kinda scary now. but i still can recite their lyrics at will.
