How I'm like President Smirky

Sick of the clutter in our apartment, I empty the bookshelves and tear down all the piles of books that have sprung up.

I then sort them into different piles (sell, keep, give away, etc).

Unfortunately, without new bookcases or any additional room, there are now books all over the living room floor, and I no place to put them.

S.O. shakes his head at me from the safety of the sofa.

"I could have told you that would be a disaster. Tsk, tsk - just like Bush - no exit strategy."

...I can relate. I start these reorganization efforts and then get bogged down in the quagmire. Result: even worse than before I started.
