Krispy Kreme is almost the inverse (their donuts are WAY better). that being said, I don't particularly like/dislike D&D, altho i hated the place when i first moved here b/c it seemed like it was the only place people went in the morning when there were better places available. go figure :shrug:

I only like the Hazelnut at D&D, but I get it with cream and sugar so what I really like is warm cream and sugar. :silly:

I wonder if anyone REALLY likes Starbucks, or if they all go there because it's supposed to be the best (and by best I mean most expensive).

I usually get my coffee from the local place, and the best donuts I ever had were from the Shoprite. :shrug:

I'm not fond of Dunkin Donuts, though - the staff at the ones near me don't speak English and put a TON of sugar into your coffee no matter what you tell them.

Wawa is wonderful, and there's a little local stand (Passero's) which is particularly good, so I don't need either Starbucks OR DD

the best coffee in the country is Audobon's line of fair traded shade grown coffees. yum.

Starbucks gives me a stomach ache - way too bitter.

Caribou Coffee is pretty good too.

Local coffee houses also tend to have superior coffees compared to chain coffee houses, so go to them when you can.

I can't believe I'm telling a bunch of liberals to go to independent coffee houses!!? WHHHUHH?
