Has the Lounge become more volatile than GD:2004?
I'd say no.

But it's getting there.

I am beginning to appreciate some of the voices raised in here recently to the effect that the Lounge has become a dangerous place to post lately. Post a joke, post a picture, post about religion, hell, post a thread about coming out, and then be prepared to get mugged.

Anyone else feel like this?

1. Kinda, its defiantly not the same, I lurked for a while the Lounge was
always so nice, now there are flame wars quite a lot.

The lounge is every BIT as kind and gentle as it EVER WAS, and you must be some kind of uber-conservative Freeper type not to see that!

10. Not gone, but was reduced in online time.
Was busy before the election with campaigns and have been at a dead run with other projects since then. I've missed you terrible bad in spite of how busy I was!

I did see your thread about defending yourself with the can of ravioli (or was it beefaroni?) I hope all that has cleared up for you!
