Someone, anyone, please explain WHY?

WHY is this thread in the 2004 election discussion forum?
Is there even ONE reply that is remotely related to election
discussion and debate?

out of a molehill. No, it's not the most mature thread, I agree, but sometimes people need to vent and let off steam, and they should be left alone in peace to be able to do so.

4. Uh...I know that it is a string of rants- the question is:

WHY is it in That forum?
Rants are usually contained here in the lounge or
in GD.
I just find the posts to be REALLY juvenile.
Which is our specialty in THIS forum.

This is off topic, but I was wondering if you got the idea for your user name from the cult classic book of the same name by Ram Das. And if so, do you know where I can get a copy. I used to own one, but I gave it to a friend in return for something good he did for me.
