You are all invited to a housecleaning party
Wednesday. Please come and help me clean my dirty house. Just cannot understand why I can't get motivated to clean. I've never been this way before. My house is an embarrassment.

1. Sounds like a good idea
I'd be afraid to have one though even with friends who have seen the mess. I'd be too embarassed for them to actually clean it.

3. Have You Seen That Show on Lifetime with the Two English Ladies?
Last week I fell asleep on the couch while my wife watched the latest damsel in distress movie. When I awoke this show was coming on, and I was too apathetic to change the channel. These women SMELL things! They debate about what comprises some pile of glop - and then they SNIFF it! Unidentifiable container from the back of the fridge? *SNIFFFF* The place they were cleaning belonged to some young woman who had a cat...a very unhappy cat from all appearances. This poor kitty's litter box hadn't been cleaned in what looked to be at least a month. The cat had been refraining from using the filthy box for so long that it began vomiting...everywhere. The English ladies sent samples vacuumed from her carpet to a lab, which said allergen levels were so high that an asthmatic person could DIE in there! The woman's boyfriend - asthmatic - refused to come live with her because he had attacks every time he came over to her place.

If you ever feel despondent over your housekeeping abilities, check out this show some time. It'll make you realize that you have a LONG way to go before your place gets in the condition of the places these very brave women visit.
