Trivial Pursuit: The Lord of the Rings Edition.
This kick ass Lord of the Rings Calender, its huge and the pictures are of the movie posters.

1. My family does too
We always open the family presents on Christmas Eve. Then, when we were little, we'd get up Christmas morning to find the loot Santa left us.

My best present: My niece gave me a copy of Jon Stewart's "America (the Book)" I love it.

2. I got a great T-shirt from my dad
it says " I hate Walmart " in huge letters
and under that says "I don't like whips, I don't like
chains, I don't go chopping up my neighbors brains"
"Dave Lippman on urgent records"

Dave is a friend of my dads , and I love the shirt .

I will celebrate next year. This year, I plan to watch some movies and order Chinese food with friends. It has been wonderful not to have holiday stress! I just couldn't deal with it this year.

20. I know! What the hell is up with that?
Well, this year my brother and his girlfriend both got me presents, and the extended Lord of the Rings is really more like present for the whole family, but because I'm the super obsessive freak fan, they say its mine... and I don't complain about that. ;) :7

23. What is the "sisters journal" like? I'm intrigued.
I mean, is it one journal for sisters to pass back and forth, or how is it done?

Thanks for the info!

Merry Christmas!

19. I loved Johnathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.
Great book. You made out like a bandit :)

We haven't opened ours, yet. I prefer Christmas morning, but it is tempting :) I can't wait for my kiddos to open their presents. I got my 3 year old a Thomas the Tank Engine train set. He's been into trains a lot lately, so I think he's going to love it. My 14 month old got a Weebles farm set. They got a lot of other stuff, too, but I predict those things will be the biggest hits, aside from the boxes everything came in, of course.

22. That brought back a great memory for me.
Edited on Sat Dec-25-04 01:55 AM by Pithlet
My parents bought some new large appliance, like a refrigerator. I don't remember exactly what it was. My dad is very artistic; with paint, glue and deft skill with an exacto knife, he turned it into the coolest playhouse. You couldn't tell it was a big cardboard box in its previous life. I hadn't thought of that for years. :)

25. Usually
but we opened each others this afternoon because she had to work tonight. They were mostly token gifts since our main gift to each other is a trip to Hawaii in March. We went in October and had such a good time we decided to go back.:)
