"The Terminal" gripe - spoiler
Anybody fucking stupid enought to leave Catherine Zeta Jones (in a sexy bob, stilettos, and a flight attendant uniform, to boot) behind in an airport deserves to be deported back to some backwoods, cyrillic-speaking war-torn hole in the wall of a country. Seriously, this guy builds a freakin' mosaic fountain for her our of broken pieces of pottery, manufactures a fully-staffed al fresco restaurant for her, and travels halfway around the world to get the autograph of some jazz-been playing the Ramada circuit, but he hasn't got the initiative to take CZJ up on her multiple offers to go out with her?!

HOW FUCKING STUPID CAN YOU BE?! She's hot and likes you, dude... go with the flow!

And, seriously, what the fuck was with all her inner-conflict? I mean, come on...she's a single woman who likes sex. Why should she sew her own scarlet letter on, and punish herself for it? Admittedly, fucking around with married guys ain't cool, but, seriously.... get over yourself, stop taking communion three times a week, and enjoy it while ya got it, toots! Promiscuity is still a crime worth of self-loathing and self-punishment? What cewntury is Spielberg living in?!

He could have married her, "made an honest woman out of her" (in the Hollywood sense), and snagged American Citizenship, in the process. End of story.

on edit: c'mon...

4. He didn't come to the U.S. to marry some bimbo.
He came to keep a promise.

He WANTED to go home!

Everyone doesn't want American citizenship and marriage.

Yeah, there should have been a bedroom scene, but they were probably thinking about the rating system.

It was a nice little movie. Go find some Christmas cheer.

5. It was a pleasant little movie
but in the end, the reason he was here was really quite lame. Plus, the idea that he alone of all the people from that country got stranded because of the political mess there is beyond silly and unbelievable.

But I like Tom Hanks, who was very good as the stranded man, and if I were to ever have full body plastic surgery I would like to end up looking like Ms Zeta-Jones. Life is not fair.
