1. My cat won't go near catnip
What is wrong with this picture? Should I roll up the catnip in a rolling paper? What?

2. Make a toilet paper roll pipe
and put on some Dead and explain to your cat that catnip is not a "gateway drug" and if used in moderation, can be an enjoyable experience.

7. There are many different breeds of catnip; try another kind!
For instance, the Cosmic Catnip brand uses one type, which my cats love, but they are lukewarm to whatever is in their toys.

3. I can think of no other other animal I'd rather watch than a cat!
Dogs are great, but cats are most unpredictable. I have two Siamese, or they have me. Jyoti the male cat is good at opening cupboard doors and doors that aren't latched shut. Jyoti knows how door knobs work but can't get the knob to turn and pull at the same time. He a gas, Shanti, the female is extremely shy, but loves to talk a lot when I'm in the kitchen. She will always wait for a reply.

6. If Max is outside ...
when I drive up, as I'm parking the car, he leaps on the hood and sits there as I park. When I open the door, he literally lunges at me to hold him, purring like mad. And he's a big tomcat.

8. One of my cats opened the very catnip toy
that had his name on it-- even though there was another one there for his brother!

He got downstairs before any of us, and was clawing open the paper when my daughter discovered him.

I never knew he could read!
