Fabulous Christmas -- and you?

We're a Christmas brunch family, not Christmas dinner, so I'm stuffed and mostly done. The nieces and nephews all loved their multitude of gifts. With nearly a dozen of them now, my father's living room looked a little bit like a toy store. An entire forest died to provide all that wrapping paper, I swear to God. :)

I got earrings, sweaters, over $1,000 in bookstore gift cards ($250 from Daddy and various denominations from sisters-in-law, brothers, and nieces and nephews old enough to have money to buy presents) and some CD's.

I am going to give about half of those gift cards to the library of one of the very underprivileged public schools in my town, BTW. I love books, but that amount of free books for one person is just obscene. (And my apartment is already so full of paper as to be a fire hazard.)
