SO is playing with a flame-thrower in kitchen

Well, actually a Microtorche for Creme Brulee.

I am realizing now just how dangerous an idea this present really was.

Common sense says crockery gets HOT when placed under flame.

I should have bought her an aloe vera plant to go along with it.

3. I bought it at a "Linens and Things" but really

I think you could go to any hobby shop and buy a small butane torch...or a hardware store for a "large" propane torch...neither of those would be kitcheny in appearance and for sure the last one would have a bigger flame which might be more difficult to control...

I just got one of those too. And I've been playing with it all morning as well:P. I need...uhhh...practice....that's it....

EDIT:

The sticker on the bottom mine says it came from Bed Bath and Beyond, which is basically the same store as Linen and Things.
