I'm starving!

It's so hard to find a good meal on December 25 each year! WTF is wrong with people? I have money, and I want to eat. Instead, I'm forced to wait until tomorrow morning. WTF is wrong with this country?

(Sorry for the rant. I just get cranky when very hungry)

6. Found a can of potatoes!

It was behind some plastic bags in a cabinet. My wife and I finished it off in about 30 seconds.

Stocking-up never occurred to me since this is the first December 25 that I've been buying food day to day. My wife and I are staying where I work, because we don't have heat at home and it's too cold right now. It's warm here, we've got hot water, and a bunch of computers with fast Internet access, so it's not so bad. Food is the problem without having a kitchen.

I hope things work out for you. There are / were places for people to go for hot meals today as I understand. Was it not possible for you to do that?

I'm on food stamps, which, have nicely been cut in half.

I'm on disability, so I'm out of money. And I'm out of food, with no food stamps until the 12th of next month.
