Anyone get a GPS receiver for Christmas? Or asked for one and didn't get it? :)

6. I don't geocache, but I am a letterboxer. Similar thing, except

you use clues from the letterboxingNorthAmerica site to find boxes and stamp your stamp in logbooks.

I did run into a small geocache one time when I was planting a letterbox! It was very exciting. The hobbies can easily overlap.

7. letter boxing came way before geocaching if I'm not mistaken

8. I've heard of letterboxing, but didn't quite understand how it goes.

Do you have to have your own signature stamp? Do you also use a GPS receiver to find a letterbox?
