Is the President lying to me?

I have been reading some of the struggles in these threads: people out of work, unable to find jobs, my own struggles.

And it got me thinking: what happened with that whole "compassionate conservative" thing?

I'm so confused.

Oh well, I'm sure if the conservative fundamentalists knew of our plight they would help us, right? Right?

to all that ails America? Whatever your problem might be I'm sure it isn't anything that couldn't be fixed with a tax cut.
