Thanks to my DU friends for getting me through this long nightmare!
Edited on Sun Dec-26-04 12:08 AM by derbstyron
Because of my mental health Christmas is always a nightmare for me.

But this year all my new DU friends made it bearable.

I continue to be amazed by the compassion and grace
of my fellow DUers.

I look forward to a great 2005

And I thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, helping me get through this.

2. Hugs to you
My brother is going through something similar, I think.
You take strength and hope where you can get it.
I'm glad you've found some here.

11. It's over except for one thing.
On Dec 26, and for a few days after, people will ask the inevitable question: "Did you have a nice Xmas?" I usually lie and say yes. This year, however, I can truthfully say yes.

13. good point. I usually do the same thing unless I know the
people really well (and they have their own horror stories) and then I tell the truth, so do they, and we usually commiserate and /or have a good laugh trying to top one another

9. No sweat....was waiting for you to come over for dinner! And YES,
I did leave my "How can 59,054,087 people be so dumb?" daily mirror front page on my fridge. Not very hospitable of me I know, but I'm not feeling particularly hospitable these days. My repug family members will just have to deal!

It actually was a nice day. My daughter did hear my Repug brother-in-law say to my Repug nephew while pointing to my fridge.."Did you see this?" HA! He's as cheap as a person can get and probably thinks he's actually getting some of Idiot Boy's tax cuts. Fat chance!

Relatively peaceful day.....Waaaaaaaay too much food though.

Happy New Year....we're due
