Dial-up - Netscape and NetZero slammin' AOL w/ satire ads

Has anyone seen these?

They use characters identical to those in the AOL ads, but have them dissing AOL instead. Pretty brutal.

Now Netscape takes on NetZero, giving accelerator free vs. Zero's extra $5mo. $9.95 vs. $14.95.

Harsh, head-on ads. Its a price war and AOL isn't even fighting.

(I've been on "accelerated" dial up for over a year thru a company I'd never heard of before - Access4less.net. Excellent service. Wonderful. Fast. $8.95 mo. )

That's interesting considering that AOL owns Netscape... or at least they did the last time I checked. Maybe that's changed.

2. They ARE cool.

I even liked the fact that they ripped the AOL boardroom wallpaper for use in the Netzero add. The whole thing crept up on me, and after it was over, I was like....** ? ! **.
