Oh. My. God.

5. Thanks (I'll assume that was a tranquilizer).
Mom might be a little pissed otherwise. She's kinda attached to him.

8. Oh no! I don't know which is worse:
The screaming and bouncing off the walls, or that creepy vacant, slightly-face-lifted smile.

3. I feel ya.
My daughter (10) made herself a cup of tea the other day because her throat's been bothering her. Well, she didn't realize she used one of those tea bags meant for a whole PITCHER and not one of the individual ones and on top of that she put WAY too much honey in it and I couldn't figure out for a while why she would NOT STOP TALKING. I mean she didn't take a breath. Then I tasted her tea. Oh my God. The sweetness and strength of it just put my teeth on edge.

Whew. So yeah, I feel ya. Aren't kids great? LOL!

Just now she tried to tell me a story about something she saw once and it took her about 10 minutes to get to the point. Like kids do.

7. LOL!
Of course, I know some adults who have the same problem telling a concise tale.

9. I feel your pain! My twelve year old son is currently in bed and was over
an hour early tonight, because he decided to throw a temper tantrum in the grocery store tonight. He kept asking for things even after I had agreed to buy the first two items he requested (nonessential junk food and candy). After that I said no to several books and magazines taht I routinely refuse to buy. I offered a different puzzle/activity book, but he refused.

He got abusive, I put back the second item, he got more and more abusive.

Eleven through sixteen is difficult. Sixteen through 21 is nightmarish.

Buck up. He's your little brother. You can hand him back to your parents. I'm stuck with my little monster for the next eight years...

10. Aww, sorry.
He isn't to that level yet...he's still pretty much in 10-year-old mode. He just gets really hyper and loud, and everything I say to try to calm him down just makes him more aggressive. Overall, he's a good kid though, just a little hyped out from all the day's excitement.

Right now he's watching a video with his older brothers, so it's all right.

Good luck with yours, though. Maybe he'll be in a better mood tomorrow.

11. He'd better be! Or
he'll find out just what a really MEAN mommy I can be. Maybe I'll die the time and weather number and pretend to be calling Child Protective Sevices and requesting that he be placed in foster care...

 I'm really mean!
