OK, who's played Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PS2/GC?

I'm stuck on where the lava pits are. I've already Diffindoed the first spiked ball, and I'm stuck trying to Diffindo the 2nd one. I'm at a loss. I looked at the cheat sheets and none of them are helpful. So I'm eagerly awaiting advice.

FYI, I'm playing the PS2 version.
