I Just Got A Root Canal-Ask Me Anything...

It ruined my Christmas...

It started hurting Thursday night and I couldn't hardly eat or drink a thing....

The pain was so intense that it dropped me to my knees and made me think about original sin and that's why humans have pain...

I committed a sin or two myself but nothing to justify that pain...

Called the dentist... I might be $800.00 poorer but I feel born again...

2. It Feels Fine Now...

The dentist gave me a prescription but I don't think I'm going to have it filled...

It looks like Vicodan... That's the stuff Brett Favre got hooked on...

I just had a root canal 2 weeks ago and with the crown it was $2245. Merry Christmas to me!! How can it cost that much?

Figure a root canal costs 500-800 and a crown cost 800-1500 and you're in the ball park...

But I would I have gladly had a toe amputated to relieve the pain (jk)

My regular dentist is on vacation... When she comes back I need a crown I expect it to cost $800.00...

5. I've had so many root canals that...

I have my dentist on speed dial. Are you an any kind of antibiotic? If so, take it...however, I've discovered that four Advil work better for pain than Vicadin and you can still drive heavy machinery.

6. I Had The Root Canal This Morning...

at 9 EST...

The novacaine has worn off and my tooth feels fine...The procedure hurt... Five shots... One for each root and one general but it was worth it...

From Thursday to this morning even sucking a lifesaver caused pain...

I am taking oxamacillin...

8. root canal- a bush speech is funny/tragic...

root canal is medieval pain..

I guess you could get I V sedation for another few hundred bucks.....
