Beach songs
My partner and I are in the process of putting together a CD of Summer/Beach songs. We already have Beach Boys and most of the normal stuff. Does any one have any suggestions for songs we can add?

13. Link to Palisades Park
written by "The Gong Show"'s Chuck Barris back in the early 60s, it's a summer song celebrating an amusement park in NJ. Got national airplay, though.

11. Let Me Take You To the Beach
Frank Zappa - Studio Tan album

If yer not into Zappa it may take a while before you can listen to the whole album. You may end up cursing my name for eternity for suggesting that you purchase this album just for that song.

Cheers
Drifter

12. If you haven't already, you need to check out the Mermen...

My favorite CD's are "Glorious Lethal Euphoria" and "The Amazing California Health and Happiness Show". Their website is www.mermen.net
I grew up in the Bay Area and these guys are still playing along Ocean Beach in SF.
