1. Furry bastard is fine
I, on the other hand, look like I was attacked by a weed whacker.

My cat is no one to trifle with. I should have known.

4. I have a similar cat...
.."Fat bastard", "the White Devil", or "Moby Dickhead,"

Evil has many names.

He is a 15+ pound, corpulent, foul beast, whom I have also learned not to trifle with...

I both love and fear him and his imposing girth.

5. Have a friend that had a cat that weighed 33 pounds when it died...
Fattest, more lazy thing I've ever seen.

So fat that its belly dragged on the ground so badly that it tripped him at times.

7. OMG!
The poor cat! Mine is actually mostly solid muscle..he really isn't fat..the vet called him "robust." He looks pretty normal, albeit, BIG, but when you pick him up, he is like a sandbag.

11. My former roommate had a cat that was so lazy
(your cue for "how lazy was it?")

Anyway, he was so lazy that he would actually lay down on his side near his food bowl and scoot the food out of the bowl onto the floor where he would proceed to eat lying down.

17. MY cat was so lazy
he'd lay right IN the food bowl and eat whatever was closest to his face. My other cat then learned to stick his paw in the bowl wherever he could find room and run off with whatever morsels he could snag. Even though my lazy cat has been in kitty heaven for over a year, my other cat still takes food "to go" and eats it all over the house. It's really fun to step on with bare feet.

9. Teehee...
I have a Pitbull Terrier and a German Shepherd, and the massive putz beats them down daily. In fact, he follows them around LOOKING to engage, and they have found they want no part of it. He actually enjoys wrestling with these big dogs...they used to participate, but are now, WELL OVER IT.

(I really don't hate my cat - but I do like the giant schnauzers!)

8. My cat lives on the kitchen table for the most part.
It provides an excellent view of the yard and it's the only place he's safe from the bouviers. It also allows him the opportunity to occasionally bat at the dogs when they least expect it. Clever guy.

12. Why can't people tell a bouvier from a giant schnauzer, we
get that alot, despite very good clips. Our giant is a wus though. Got bit in the nose by a screaming duck, and a tiny border terrier.

14. I don't know. They look very different to me.
My first bouv almost had a heart attack when a very baby squirrel charged her. She almost fell over backwards, then hid behind me. The squirrel went back to eating.

I had no idea what you were talking about until I read the responses.

I was wondering just what "Furry Bastard" was the name for.
