I got M.A.S.H. - Seasons 1- 7 for Christmas

This is maybe the best gift I ever got, way better than a sweater. My wife was debating between this and some power tools I have been hinting at. I am glad she made the right call.

I'll be watching every episode of MASH for the next few months (at least the first 7 seasons worth). Since nothing on TV today even comes close to making me laugh, this will be very much appreciated.

My wife is the BEST!!!

I love that TV show. I figure I will need 6 months to watch them all.

If she makes me a "still" I'm going to nominate her for wife/best friend of the year. Let me think, woul dI rather have a table saw or years of laughter. She made the right decision.

Then it turned from a series about people dealing with the war in unique and clever ways to a series about people not dealing with the war--craziness, alcoholism--blah blah blah.

I think that episode of Futurama with the iHawk was right on the money. The iHawk robot could switch between "Irrelevant" and "Maudlin" modes. Like this exchange:

Nurse: Leave Dr. Zoidberg alone, he has twice the training you do. iHawk: Yeah, he's a doctor and a butcher.
Zoidberg: Oh, see, this is how it starts. First with the jokes, then comes the heavy stuff.

iHawk: When will the killing end?

8. Col Blake was a great character, but the show was great after he left too

I loved the Col Potter character, but not as much as Blake. That Col Blake death episode still makes me cry.
