Anyone picked apart an owl pellet (owl poo)
I went though some in some elementary school science classes to pick all the mouse bones out. Kinda cool actually. With all the poo related threads going around . . .

Owl regurgitate undigested bone, gristle and hair in dry, grayish, oblong pellets. The pellets are nearly sterile after acid has broken them down.

3. I know
I was kinda grossed out at first, but I was always into science, biology, and nature stuff as a kid so I dealt with it. Hands on science is the best. I also dissected a juvenile shark in 4th grade. :D

2. I thought it was owl yack, not poo
Kinda like a hairball. And, yep, dissected one in high school. Tiny bones and fur.

I wonder if feral cats that eat mice hack up cat pellets?
