Selling them like crazy, where I live (Tampa). Ads all over the radio..."buy 1 get one free" and such. Oh, yeah, time to blow up the neighborhood.

7. Yay! There's a stand about a mile and half from my house....

And we'll be heading over there to stock up on a few items ourselves.

Fireworks are fine. I don't get the folks that think holidays are a fine time to shoot up the neighborhood with guns. Gimme a Black Cat firecracker any day over my drunk neighbors peppering 12-gauge squirrel shot into my roof.

...over by the Parks and Recreation headquarters....S. Wayside and Telephone area. Holidays were hell. We actually had to hide under our beds one New Year's Eve because we were convinced we were going to got holed out. It always sounds like a war zone in Houston whenever there's a major holiday.
