5. Tech recruiter called me from that area code
about a job in CO. That job looks like a match made in heaven, so I've given him a copy of my resume, and I'll hopefully land that contract job before my move to NYC.

6. Lots of tech companies around here
It might be that the corporate headquarters is located in this area, and they handle all HR processing.
