I really love Sabbath. Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler are the perfect back up for Ozzy. They practically invented metal and are still the best metal band of all time, bar none.

Black Sabbath Vol 4 and We Sold Our Souls For Rock and Roll both on vinyl and both sitting in the basement gathering dust as we have no old fashioned record player ;(

....on vinyl....along with Floyd..The Wall...Animals...Meddle...got over a hundred various oldies....Runes too....but alas NO record player to play 'em on...a friend gave me two milk crates full of albums all in mint condition...and still haven't gotten to enjoy 'em yet *sigh* x(

Rhino/Warner Bros is releasing the Black Box with all the Black Sabbath (original lineup) albums on November 4

If Rhino approaches this box set in a similar way to their Grateful Dead box, then the results should be impressive :evilgrin:

....it's cool they're puttin' 'em out as a box set though...outta be awesome....sure to expose this generation of young'ns to what rock'n'roll is really all about! :D

They put the heavy into heavy metal. I wore out every tape that I bought by them. I haven't thought to replace them with disks, but I think it would be money well spent.

..so you'll be able to replace all of 'em at one time!! :)
