Rather, it's a "somewhat large", normal-looking wave that moves in unobstructed by anything in it's path, continues on, and within 30 seconds one's in 20 feet of water. Just like that. Then there's the debris it carries with it...

Sort of hard to describe..."Mother of all swells"? I'm serious...it's very hard to put to words...
