if I'd taken a camera to the SPCA today. My ex-gf and I were driving past and she joked, "we could go get puppies," and before I knew it we were in the parking lot. We really had no intention of getting puppies (and didn't), but we both really want one, and thought we'd torture ourselves by looking.

And torture it was; we saw three of the CUTEST litters of puppies ever. Two litters of shepherd/rottie and other shepherd mix, and then one litter of 7 absolutely effing adorable black lab puppies, all asleep together in a big, warm, floppy pile on a little pallet. It was all I could do to leave there without a pup under each arm.

I am first and foremost a cat person, but puppies are impossibly cute. :)

with her sharp little pinlike claws and fangs. Don't let that face fool you. I've got two who looked just like that. My blood is red.

that is a melter for sure.:)
