Do US governments (state or federal) advertise to any great degree?

I don't notice that many ads. The occasional tourism one.

Canadian governments advertise a lot. I don't even want to know how much BC is spending right now. Anyone else smell a spring election?

3. I saw more BC ads over Christmas than ads

for the GAP or Old Navy etc.

BC is wonderful. We're tops in job creation. Invest here. We have the best schools. Damn, it's pretty here. This is not one commercial, but a series.
