2005 Prediction Thread!

Let's see what you think will happen in 2005!

My predictions are:

1. The NFC team will score arguably the most memorable upset in Super Bowl history.

2. Mass looting will usher in the release of the new Harry Potter book in July.

3. A prominent current or former world leader - perhaps the Pope or Margaret Thatcher - will die, along with a former US First Lady. (Although, as a Christian, I hope they don't die)

4. The 2005 hurricane season will make the 2004 season look calm.

5. A governor will be impeached or forced to resign.

6. I sense bad news for Queen Elizabeth's health coming just in time for Labour to use it to win elections in May.

7. When making my summer plans, I would not include a trip to the Mississippi Valley between Memphis and New Orleans.

8. Somehow, the Democrats will either gain or lose one seat in the Senate.

9. Richard Lugar and Orrin Hatch, both five-term Republican Senators, will announce their retirement.

10. Another team you might not expect (but not the Tigers) will win the World Series.

1) Sadly, the loss of jobs in this country...hundred of thousands of them...will continue in 2005.

2) Osama Bin Laden will NOT be found in 2005. More videos from him over the year

3) "The Aviator" will win Best Picture at the Oscars. Martin Scorcese will FINALLY win a much overdue Best Director Oscar

4) The anti-gay Federal Marriage Amendment will be reintroduced in the Seante in 2005. Once again, it will lose.

1) The economy won't get much better, if at all
2) the war won't end.

Many will continue to think Bush looks like a Monkey.
Boobie head Jeb will continue to be groomed for the Presidency.
The Democrats especially those in the Senate will still be sporting their pink tutus
The Media will continue to whore for Bush
The anti- Gay Marriage Amendment will be sent to the states for ratification and will be ratified.

The Pope DIES and stays dead for a few minutes but then is inexplicably revived, making him STRONGER and MORE POWERFUL than EVER and he unleashes an army of undead zombie saints and would be absolutely UNSTOPPABLE were it not for one little boy who never lost hope in the human will
