Greetings from 2005
Edited on Fri Dec-31-04 06:54 PM by Kellanved
My small contribution to Berlin's sky (all participants of our party decided to buy just one rocket each and donate money to the tsunami victims instead)

The Pfannkuchen (filled either with champagne cream, eggnog cream, plum, strawberry, chocolate or rasberry) (AKA Jelly Donuts or JFK's Berliners):

Have a nice hours of 2004 and a great 2005 everyone! :hi:

4. Happy New Year!
We kept it very quiet this year, just a nice meal. I had a little fireworks left over from last year, we didn't by any but instead donated some money.

Tomorrow morning early we are leaving for two days in a spa, body and soul will enjoy the badly need relaxation after some very tense weeks.

A peaceful 2005 to everyone! :hi:  :toast:

7. Glückliches Neues Jahr, Kellanved! Greetings from the past!

Read your post about 4:30 in the afternoon, the sun's just setting. The Internet is kind of like a time machine. :)

The fireworks are cool, but I want the Pfannkuchen! My ex-husband's family comes from Germany, and I miss the pastries and cookies.
Many blessings to you in 2005! Proust! :toast:

Your Demopedia friend,
intheflow

11. Thanks
Again: My best wishes for the remaining hours of 2004 and let's hope that demopedia's timeout won't last long. At to the Pfannkuchen: I am afraid, they're all gone, except one with an ominous fruity filling.

:toast:
And apparently I am still unable to get my English right on the first attempt ;-)

14. Well

As one one who has spent more nieuwjaars (and the other feestdagen) in the Netherlands than in any other country: the locals are at least as "enthusiastic" as the Dutchmen - yet far less practical in sealing all garbage containers and parking meters.
Best wishes for the next year to you :toast: .
