Movies that should have had a sequel but didn't
There are so many sequels that should never have been made, but I bet there are more that should have been done, but were not..

19. "Big Trouble..."
was quite in the spirit of "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the Eighth Dimension" but was not the sequel we all hoped to see--all 2 dozen of us who caught the original release.

Who can forget the closing credits with Buckaroo & his Hong Kong Cavaliers striding off to their next adventure, skinny ties & all? Alas, it was not to be.

At least we can check out what's up at the "Banzai Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Strategic Information":

At the end they "previewed" a Part II, but Mel Brooks never made it.

Too bad, I loved that movie.

17. Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins
I've always enjoyed that movie, despite my hatred of the "heroic" soundtrack theme they flogged to death. But apparently the adventure never got past the beginning. It wasn't a great movie, but it was quietly good. I'd have watched a sequel.

(There was a TV movie made after the film, but I've never bothered with it as Fred Ward and Joel Grey were not in it.)

18. they didn't go far enough
though it was relatively close to the book series from which the story was culled. Murphy/Sapir's Destroyer novels SHOULD be prime action movie candidates.

I enjoyed the film too, if they would have kept going it could have been a monster series.
