Is "Who's Your Daddy" the show the Fundies are upset about?
I watched a few minutes just now, and it's probably the sappiest show I've ever seen. It's really, really tame. What exactly do they have a problem with?

2. Yeah, it sounds pretty awful to me
I should probably watch it first though but the the premise of the show sounds pretty disgusting to me. I hate FOX.

4. Fundies don't need to actually *see* a show to bitch and moan about it.
They've been doing that since at least the film version of THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST in 1988, and probably for decades before that. Losers.

5. I'm just wondering when
We're going to start throwing/feeding people to lions and filming that. That's all that's left. Besides free bread for all citizens.

I've never watched a single "reality" show but based on the commercials I'd say they're proof positive that the lowest common denominator keeps getting lower.

Baseball games.

8. OK, if we're going to include sports..
Then my favorite form of reality TV (Hockey:cry:) is missing from the airwaves this year.
And no, I hate the fighting - it's stupid and a waste of time.

6. I think it's pretty disgusting to turn someone's search for
a family member into a cheesy "reality" TV show. It's also disgusting that they found people willing to participate in such a show.

13. Oh, yes, "The Swan".
Like watching a train wreck. What on earth do they turn these poor souls into?

O.K., I understand wanting some "work" done; I have a few things I wouldn't mind changing about my appearance had I the inclination, time, and money to burn. But for crying out loud, these women just look scary when the experts are done. Pathetic. At least they could make the subjects look like real people.

11. See, I just don't get that...
At first I was totally against the show and was not going to watch it out of principal. But then my curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to be able to defend my detest for the show firsthand.

Unfortunately I changed my mind! Overall, I found the show a little sappy, but not really exploiting at all. Both the father and the daughter seemed elated at being given this opportunity. Although the money factor was attached, it was very obvious that this wasn't the number one.

So, although slightly sappy and emotional I'd have to say that I don't really see the problem with it.

Anyone else?

15. That's not really fair
These are people who were put up for adoption not people whose mother's don't know who the father of their baby is.
