Poll question: Will I have a snow day tomorrow?

We're supposed to get a foot of snow (more up here in the northern suburbs) overnight. The winter weather advisory is up at 4 AM, leading me to believe that the streets will not be plowed in time.

The unfortuante thing is that I'm feeling kind of very sick, so I'll likely miss tomorrow anyway. At least I won't have work to make up :)

Everyone at school was depressed... others had a few rays of hope that school would be let out at 1:00 (1:50 early). Poor bast'ds.

But things are looking up for tomorrow! The school district's emergency closing page doesn't sound very hopeful about having school tomorrow:

All after-school student activities, including athletic practices and contests, are cancelled for today. This includes varsity team practices. While we are somewhat unsure about the total impact of the current weather conditions, we are considering the safety of our students.

When the principal interrupted our 7th hour class today, she mentioned to be sure to check the page tomorrow morning for "updates" several times. I'm getting good vibes here.
