3. Hell, I don't even have any with prominent Dems
One the bright side, I could get a full-size cardboard cut out of the Governator while I'm here in CA.

5. LOL! I'd do it just to make fun of him!
You know the Dubya and Laura picture his campaign sent out? It was an 8by 10 glossy. They sent it , for some reason, to tons of Dems, anyway, I didn't get one,but a friend of mine did and he photoshopped Kerry buttons on them. It was hilarious! I pretended that I got one in the mail and gave it to a Repuke relative who framed and hung it. He never noticed the buttons! Giggle.

15. me, either
I don't have a pic of me with any famous Democrats, Republicans or celebrities in general.

The closest I came was riding an airport shuttle with former Republican & later independent candidate for President John Anderson... seemed like a nice enough guy.

4. I could've gotten a pic
with the gipper if I'd have gone to a speech of his while in college. I won tickets to a speech of his while he was still gov. But I ended up giving the tix to the campus repugs.

Actually, the closest I have with a Dem is with a painting of Bill Clinton inside the Hall of Presidents in Disney World.

My mother-in-law used to work for a NH paper so they all walked through NH papers so she would get to shake hands with many of these people.

11. Not me
but my kid had his picture made with David Vitter shortly after he was first elected as our congressman. My son was with his grandparents and ran into Vitter at the airport. Vitter was more than happy to pose for a photo op.

My son is now a solid Democrat, btw, (almost voting age) and can't stand Vitter or his replacement, Bobby :puke: Jindal.

14. Good for your son!
I can't stand Bobby Jindal. Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush was all I ever heard from his campaign ads it made me ill. I'm glad we got Blanco now, she is starting to do good things for our state.

12. Paul Cellucci (thankfully no pictures exist)
There's this organization called NACA, a first-time home buyer program, that my wife used to work for. The guy that runs it did a great thing by proving in court that some of the biggest banks in town were redlining (which everybody knew, but amassing all the statistics and explaining them to lawyers and judges was a monumental task), and the judgment was that the guilty banks had to make a bunch of money available for home loans to the affected areas, and this guy got to administer them.

The thing is, he wants to play politics more than he wants to help home buyers. He made a deal with a specific union to be their housing broker, in return for which they provide warm bodies for the demonstrations he holds several times a year. They in turn had made a deal to endorse Paul Cellucci for governor when he ran on his own (after Bill Weld resigned and made him acting governor). So NACA people got "volunteered" to work this meet-and-greet where the actual union members could get their pictures taken with the Repug. I helped set up tables and whatnot, but no way was I gonna get a picture with that fraud.

He won, narrowly, and spent a couple years making sure the humongous cost overruns of the Big Dig remained hidden. Then Smirky helped him skip town by appointing him ambassador to Canada.

So, my name is in the paper with him. But, alas, no picture.

16. I have two of me with Bob Dole
One from when a friend and I met him at the Senate Majority Leader's office in 1992, and one from his breakfast reception for Kansans at Bill Clinton's first inauguration. He invited me to stay and watch the inauguration from his office, which overlooked the platform, but I wanted to experience being in the crowd, so I politely declined and proceeded to freeze my butt off outdoors in an experience I'll never forget!

once in 1969 my family was on a tour of the White House and as we were leaving "Trickie Dickie" made an appearance before the tour group and he patted me on the back.
