Morning news crews cause traffic jam

OK, I woke up 2.5 hours ago and could not get back to sleep, so I watched TV. After the "Girls Gone Wild" and "Ab-Lounger" infomercials they started local news around 5 a.m.

BTW, it is snowing today in Chicago. So the local news crews all set up their live shots at Polk Ave and the Dan Ryan Expressway to tell people that it is snowing outside. Why this has to be next to an expressway is beyond me other than it makes for good TV. It snows in Chicago. It happens several times a year. We know how to deal, OK folks?

Anyway, the second the cameras turn on the traffic slows. And people are getting pissed. The reporters are mentioning that people are losing their tempers in the traffic jam. Listen, they are yelling at you because you caused the f'n traffic jam. Lots of folks are leaning on their horns as they go by trying to ruin the sound.

I can't stand the arrogance of television news who think that can screw up the day for thousands of people just to have your precous live shot.
