2. I get air for free at my local Indian owned quicky mart!
The owners and clerks are quite nice. They will even lend you a tire gauge!

4. Depends on where I go.
In some places yes, in others no. Usually at convenience stores and the like yes, at full service stations no.

19. Well, that's infinitely more interesting than tire air.
But that's just one man's opinion.

22. yes, but you also include money.
Money is always interesting. Now, if you had posted: at what pressure do you keep your tires? THAT would be worthy. :D

25. Good point. I guess I figured that........
The cost of tire air was inconsequential. Now I can see that I was wrong.

21. Yep, no free air here in Georgia.
There is one station around the corner from me that offers free air. But that is the only one I know of. At least we can't be charged for the air we breath.

23. Although the machines have coin slots, its supposed to be free in CA.
Its a law. What you need to do is go into the clerk and get a token or the correct change. I remember watching the news stations down here go on about the new law for about a week or so a couple of years ago. If you're in CA try that.

24. I use my own mini-compressor
Runs off the cigarette lighter in the car, but also has a battery so it's chargable off AC. BIL got me one for a Christmas gift. It's pretty slick - he had to use it to pump up one of his tires before the family could leave after the holidays. :-)
