who else liked the movie Van Helsing
I don't understand why all the critics are putting it in their top 10 bad movies of the year

I enjoyed the movie for what it was

they weren't trying to make anything more than a decent little vampire movie

and I love Hugh Jackman

2. It had some annoying flaws
The worst was the tidbit of a plot device that Van Helsing was actually the angel Gabriel (unless I totally misunderstood the numerous hints).

It seemed like there was supposed to be much more about that, but had been cut out. It was just left there laying unresolved at the end of the movie, almost as if it hadn't been mentioned.

3. I liked it too.
As did my husband. We went into it expecting essentially a fun live-action cartoon, and that's what we got.

And I love Hugh Jackman also.

4. I felt like walking out in the middle, and i'm not picky about movies
Give me enough popcorn and i'll watch almost anything, so I bit the bullet and watched the whole thing. I can say I'll never watch it again though..

If I were to rank movies from best to worst, Van Helsing would be in the middle.

6. wow, that movie was embarrasingly bad...
terrible effects, horrible acting, contrived plot, it had it all...definately one of the worst movies i've seen this year.
