Former obscure TV sitcoms that you think you're the only one who knows of:
There was a thread on this about a month ago, but I wanted to revive it. What former obscure sitcoms do you remember that you think no one else knows of?

I'll start (shows from my childhood in the late-80's/very early 90's):

Dear John
Hearts Afire
Home Free
Davis Rules
Nurses

Can you think of any else??

Great theme song

"Once a time when things were rotten
soon a band of merry men....he got 'em"

"they robbed the rich, gave to the poor,
except what they kept for expenses
So whenever things are forgotten,
we'll remember back when things were rotten
Yay for Robin Hood"

58. Mr. Terrific
1967 Don't remember much but the theme song

A scientist, both wise and bold,
set out to cure the common cold.
Instead he found this power pill,
which, he said, most certainly will
turn a lamb into a lion.
Like an eagle he'll be flyin'.
Solid steel will be like putty.
It will work on anybody.

But then 'twas found this potent pill
made the strongest men quite ill,
so the secret search began
to find the one and only man.

What they found made them squeamish,
for only Stanley Beamish,
a weak and droopy daffodil,
could take the special power pill
that sent him soaring through the skies
fighting foes and fighting spies.

"Happy" - A sitcom featuring a talking baby.

"Good Morning, World" - A sitcom about two radio DJs.

"The Queen and I" - It featured Larry Storch as the cruise director on a cruise ship.

"The Tammy Grimes Show" - This one was so bad, it was yanked after only three episodes and replaced by the prime-time version of "The Dating Game".

"Accidental Family" - This was Jerry Van Dyke's gig after "My Mother The Car" was cancelled. It was yanked after a few episodes and replaced by the prime-time version of "The Hollywood Squares".

well, to anyone in North American anyway. Brits will know it.

The CBC had the first 2 seasons on way back in the very early 90's...around 8 pm or so Mr Bean came on, then after DTDD...I kept on telling everyone to watch the show, no one did; Mr Bean was obviously a hit, and DTDD was never played here again.

Funny stuff, luckily I got it on tape, even if a lot of the jokes were about politicians now long gone.

Amanda's was the Americanized version of Fawlty Towers and starred Bea Arthur in the Basil Fawlty role.

Condo starred the latino guy from The Electric Company and I think McClain Stevenson as neighbors in an upscale condominium

Best of the West, was a crappy western sitcom about a chicken sherrif and his family
