1. Can't be cubs because AL won.
So I am forced to vote for the sox. The sox getting there is very unlikely, but even if the cubs their opponent will have homefield advantage so their chance is 0% while the Sox have a e% chance where e represents an arbitrarily small number. e>0 thus Sox.

2. I HATE the idea of homefield advantage being decided by the ASG!
...and I also hate the idea of homefield advantage being decided by alternating years.
Team w/ the best record should get it, end of story.
That said, thank god the AL won tonight..that makes it 7 in a row by the AL!
