Disney (who threw away F911) will remake 'Tron'
Apparently Eisner is not finished running Disney into the ground and plans to remake one of the worst movies of all time.

Disney has hired screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal to fashion a remake of 'Tron,' the 1982 film about a computer programmer who gets sucked into the parallel world of a computer program, Variety reported.

Kind of makes one wonder what Disney would consider a BAD idea.

1. Hold on just a minute... "worst movies of all time"????!!!
I'll grant you that remaking it is a horrible idea... but because it could never live up to the original.

2. When I hear something like this...
...I miss Kef's opinion. I'm SURE he'd have thought that's a terrible idea!!!

3. The best thing about tron was the little dot-racing game it spawned.
Tron was an ambitious idea, but a horrible delivery. I have little faith that anything new could be added to the concept now that it is commonplace.

4. Tron was a good film.
Way ahead of it's time concerning it animation, and story. A cybernetic Wizard of Oz.

Considering other video game movies since then...Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, and the first Tomb Raider (I liked #2)...Tron is the Citizen Kane of Video Game movies.

7. It's one of the most boring movies of all time, that's for sure.
Tedious beyond belief. I couldn't wait for it to end.

Thanks for the warning...
