4. What does Crazy Chester say to the narrator?
I've never quite got that verse and never bothered to look it up.

6. lyrics
Crazy Chester followed me, and he caught me in the fog
He said, "I will fix your rack, if you'll take Jack, my dog"
I said, "Wait a minute, Chester, I'm a peaceful man"
He said, "That's OK, just feed him when you can"

7. O.K. then I still don't get it.
What rack? And why does Chester's request for him to take his dog, comflict with the narrator's pacifism?

9. Not sure
I'm still trying to figure out why the unnamed mister had to shake the narrator's hand before telling him 'no'. In other words, I haven't even figured out the first verse yet.

I love the song but the lyrics just make no sense to me.
