8. I have never liked olives
And I don't understand the point of them. Green or black. They just piss me the hell off and sicken me - especially the black ones, which look like stinkbug body parts when put on a pizza.

15. What's funny is that there was a comic
Probably "Shoe" - the one with the birds, I remember the characters were birds - where some of them had ordered a pizza, and they were looking at it, and one was saying, "Oh, gross! We told them no olives on this!" The other one replied, "Wait, it's okay. Those are the stinkbugs we ordered."

So we apparently are not the only ones who feel that way. Maybe it was the Far Side, now that I think about it.

13. What's the deal with artichokes?
Edited on Thu Jan-13-05 02:12 PM by stlchic
That seems to be a trendy ingredient for a lot of dishes in restaurants I'm going to lately. I'll be looking at the menu, and the appetizer spinach dip or the chicken special starts to sound reeeeallly good, until they tell you about the artichoke hearts. Yuck!

And why do they only use the hearts? What happens to the rest of it?

17. They have a Thugee
Ripping out the hearts in the back of the restaurant. Just like in Indiana Jones 2.

They put the artichoke in front of him; he reaches in and pulls out the heart, and says, "Say hello to Kali... IN HELL!" Puts the heart in a container and continues.
