Is anyone going to Elektra tonight or this weekend?
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 06:48 AM by Bombtrack
I'm a HUGE Marvel movie supporter. I support the brand big time. And I have a sneaking suspicion from certain things I've read that this one will slightly surprise people for the positive. I don't think it will be X-Men/Spider-Man caliber but as good as maybe Blade and better than Daredevil and Punisher.

Plus I want to see the Fantastic Four trailer which is playing with it.

I think it has a strong chance of catching Catwoman and Daredevil's stigma and not being a hit even if it deserves to be.

Just want to gauge DUs feeling on it and whether they'll plunk down money to see it.

1. I'd like to, but there's no way I could get my wife to go.
So, I'll have to wait until it's on DVD and watch it at home. :(

2. That's funny. My wife wants to see this more than I do.
She thinks Jennifer Garner is sooooooo bitchin'. Evidently, they both are alumna in the same sorority.

I love Alias, but I've seen the previews for Elektra and I'm not really too excited about it.

3. well, I love ass kicking women, but
But, I think I'm going to wait a bit.

While Daredevil may have had a stigma, it still made pretty good money, no

4. I downloaded the first five minutes, but could only make it through
the first three before clicking it off, it was horrible. Horrible.

I refuse to encourage Hollywood to write such bad, cliched, old, overdone movies.

5. Hollywood doesn't care
They're hoping that the hotness of Jennifer Garner in leather will draw in the geeky fanboy crowd.
