ESPN hiring Rush was great
Now that he revealed himself as the racist we know he is, both CNN.com and ESPN.com have stories about the reaction to his comments on their site.

Now there's no way dittoheads can cry about Rush being abused by the "librul media" when the words came out his own chubby face.

1. Free speech is wonderful,
because the morons can open their mouths and remove all doubts.

2. AND ESPN gave him an even larger forum to expose his stupidity
and nonsensical logic. Get football fans pissed at him, and his house of cards may truly crumble!

He may not only lose his anchor position, he may eventually lose all sponsors of his radio show. And, as martha says, that would be a GOOD THING!

3. ESPN radio is devoting the entire morning to this
Patrick is mad as hell and is trying to get Limpballs on the radio.

Bruce Smith is coming on later to talk about it.

5. He's suggesting...
that McNabb is getting preferential treatment because he's black, and that much-better qualified white quarterbacks aren't getting a chance to start because the NFL wants a "token" black quarterback.

...who's managed to appear in two Pro Bowls and the playoffs, BTW.

10. Huh?
The NFL won't criticize McNabb for being a "true athlete?"

That happens right after MIT starts criticizing its faculty for being too "brainy."

Rush is trying to suggest (as he does with affirmative action in general during the weekdays) that blacks are held to a lower standard than whites. Given McNabb's considerable statistics -- there are several white quarterbacks in the league who would kill for his abilities -- it's nothing more than race-bating.

7. Perhaps I spoke too soon
on the "alert" button.

Ah well.

Buh-bye.

6. ESPN loves Rush - best ratings since 96 - up 10% for mon, 26% in 18-45 age

Rush has delivered the red neck fans to ESPN

Corporate America is bringing back racists because it pays, and with the GOP in charge, there is no political downside.

In Florida Tampa Bay pre-game discusses how white boys are only competent, while blacks are super athletes - in that liberal sports page at the Tampa Trib.

Bush is a uniter - and our US Media is doing God's work protecting him and the GOP.
