The men even leap onto threads of FReepers ladies and start posting pictures of semi-naked women; it's almost like seeing pictures of attractive men will turn them all gay.

That last one was the one that got me banned. So, I guess saying you don't believe in science is enough to get you banned.

I'm surprised they kicked you out just for those posts. I've read stuff that was a lot more nauseating than that on Freeptardville. As they're all conservative religious there's plenty of Latin Mass only Catholics, 20-odd point Calvinists &c. all of whom realistically think that all of the others are going to hell; to allow any reasonable discussions to take place on religious matters any overt Catholic-bashing will be jumped on - apart from bashing of conservative Catholics by traddy ultra-conservative Catholics.

To be fair, on this point they are being reasonable. If they're going to have a religious forum, they all need to be kept calm.

As for not considering the Pope a Catholic. There are tons of posters who refer to 'Christians and Catholics'.

These are areas that you should be able to post, without having to throw up or be banned:

1) Support the teaching of evolution. There is a wide variety of opinion.

2) Advocate gay rights. Yea I know, but unless your an asshole, you won't get banned. Libertarians are part of the crew.

3) Advocate border security.

4) Complain about the deficiet.

Bush, although liked, also has a lot of detractors. Speaking ill of him is certainly allowed; however, make sure its a topic that isn't obviously a democrat position.

Just look for someone who posts in a way that is more like what they believe a liberal thinks; the caricature fantasy liberal hardcore "conservatives" have. And also an individual that has difficulty with remembering the "ic" on Democratic.

Heard about the media experiment a few years back? Asked a bunch of freshmen politicians what they thought about the situation in Freedonia.

Taken aback by actually being required to think, most of them never realized that the joke was on them from the Marx Brothers movie, and tried to come up with a nice, "safe" political answer.

You've got to create a total personality, and stick to it. You've got to have it clear in your mind what approach you're going to take, and what you are trying to accomplish. Finally you've got to be believable, and be convincing that your personality believes what it's posting. You went too far too soon. You should've been more subtle until you'd been posting there for at least a Month, or two. Had my character said that the Pope was not a Christian, they would've simply said that, without elaboration, and in a very stuffy superior sort of way. Saying that you would be glad if the Pope was gotten rid of, was probably what got you banned, not the carbon dating thing. You could've said that carbon dating was a crock, without getting banned. It just took them a while to get around to banning you. Openly attacking Catholics is not allowed on FR. Subtlety attacking any denomination for not being "Christian Conservative" enough is OK. In fact attacking anyone, or anything for not being Christian enough, or Conservative enough is OK. Just remember to be believable, and to be true to your created personality.

If anyone came by and even accidentally blew, the whole deck would fall and everyone would realize what fools they have been. They will track anyone with a low post count more than they usually do now.
