3. When I was a kid ....
... I thought Elizabeth Montgomery was hot, and having watched a couple of Bewitched episodes recently - she is *still* hot :)

It's really probably more her personality than her looks, tho she look fine too...

4. I wanted to be Samatha
She was so cool, and so together, and used her wits to solve the problem, and used her majic in judicious and wise ways to help people.

Second on my list was Emma Peel, from the Avengers. She kicked ass in a cat suit, saving the world from deadly disasters, just in time to go home to fix dinner.

Can you do the little nose-wiggle thing, too? I like that.

Nope, I haven't seen that one yet - I tend to get way behind with movies, but it is definitely on my list. Has that Depp chappie, too, huh? :D

18. Yes, I can wiggle my nose!
:D

OUATIM is very fun! Yes, Johnny rocks! Coolest, funniest bad guy ever.

And Salma is very fine. I've become a huge fan of hers since Frida. There's a lot there that I identify with.

8. After I saw Samantha, I didn't even need to see the rest.
Hell, Bewitched is half the reason I work at an ad agency. I keep waiting for Larry Tate to burst into my office to ask me how the Bigelow account is coming...

17. Agreed. Emma Peel all the way
When I was about six or seven (way back in 1990 and 1991), I would come home every day and watch The Avengers, which was being syndicated at that time.

I knew from the first moment I laid eyes on Emma Peel that indeed, I was straight.

24. You're right
My husband would vote for her in a second. She was signing her cookbook at the Mall of America in Minneapolis a few years ago, and the line for that signing was so long it was incredible. And she hugged my husband! To this day, he says 'remember, Mary Ann hugged me.'

The funniest thing was that as we got closer, there was a deliberately grungy teen-age couple walking by, and the girl noticed the 'Dawn Wells signing' sign. And she scoffed 'who would stand in line for HER?' Her boyfriend, however, saw the sign and said 'oh my God, Mary Ann!!!!!!!!!' and was hustled away.

25. Ralph Monroe, the carpenter from Green Acres
Well, I would prefer her to Arnold, anyway. These days I'm willing to accept virtually anything other than a new role for Arnold.

Ralph was half of the clever Monroe Brothers, in those extra sexy work overalls. I think her real name was Mary Canfield, or very close to that.

OK, I actually voted for Barbara Eden above, edging sweet and sexy Mary Ann.

Some other hotties I can think of, from oddball shows of that era:

* the Hee Haw Honeys, including Misty Rowe and Gunilla Hutton
* Carol Cleveland, the one actual female regular from Monty Python's Flying Circus
