please, no one else die, okay?
First kef, now I get an email from an old highschool friend telling me a friend of ours passed away this weekend. He was 24.

Until this last week or so I hadn't had any friends die before. My grandfather died when I was 5- 21 years ago. I was exceptionally blessed and never had to really deal with death and dying. But twice in less than two weeks? Jesus H. Christ. It fucking hurts.

4. he had gone in for a minor surgery last week
there were complications and he didn't make it.

Robert and I were stand partners in band together. I saw him last year- he had really grown into himself. He used to be a republican (we called him mini-newt- for newt gingrich, and he was a short guy)-- but now he was a tall, handsome, democrat (tongue piercing and everything). He still played music but had a passion for politics and had just graduated from LSU with a degree in Poli-Sci.

He was always so full of life and energy. He was a brilliant guy.

6. I'm really sorry
24 is so terribly young for such a thing to happen. You will get through this, but expect to hurt for a long time.
