I need confirmation of my DU Existence
What with all the newcomers, seeing less of some old-timers, my recent absence from this URL, and a string of fast-sinking threads -- I feel detached from the sense of online community here at DU.

So I would appreciate any help reconnecting with some cyber hellos or something.

Yes, this is being whiny and needy -- but hey, we all get whiny and needy sometimes. Even us MACHO MANLY MEN!

I was sure glad to see you after your absence. Since when are men not whiny and needy? OK, not fair. My almost 18 year old son has been home sick so men seem very needy to me at the moment. :shrug:
